Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage involves soft, long, kneading strokes and is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, and improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage uses many of the same movements as Swedish Massage, but the movement is slower and the pressure will generally be more intense and concentrated on specific areas of tension and pain. It shouldn’t hurt, but it is likely to be a bit more uncomfortable than a classic Swedish Massage.

  • You’re experiencing nausea, vomiting or morning sickness
  • You’re at a high risk of miscarriage
  • You have a high risk pregnancy such as placental abruption (where the placenta slightly detaches from the wall of the uterus) or preterm labor

Couples Massage

Couples Massage allows partners to experience massage together in the same area as one therapist works on each person.  It is a great way to introduce a partner (or friend) who has never had a massage before in a way that makes them feel more comfortable the first time.  A couples massage is designed to be shared with a significant other, best friend, or family member. It’s a great way to bond with a loved one on a special occasion such as a birthday, Valentines Day or an anniversary.  (Includes Aromatherapy, Reflexology, and Hot Towels).
